蒸饺

蒸饺= Zhēng jiǎo= steamed dumplings= best breakfast.

After forgetting to eat breakfast and realizing I was near starvation at 11:30 am, I wandered into this restaurant after recognizing the word for dumplings above the door. Half of these were filled with pork and green onion and the other half beef.  Delicious, filling, and only ¥11.50 for all of this and a drink. And yes, that is Avril Lavigne on the bottle. Doing big things Avril, doing big things.

  1. ALINA!!!!! You are fearless. You are amazing. Your blog is like a page-turner novel that I cannot wait to read every night, and then cannot put down. To you, it’s just your day…to me it’s an adventure of epic proportions! I’m Little Miss Suburbia. Provincial Princess. So I cannot thank your Mom enough for emailing the link to your blog. I am thrilled for you. Your life is full of new wonders and such rich learning opportunities. I wish you only good things. And I send you oh…. so, so, so much love, with a heavy dose of admiration….or maybe it’s awe. I cannot wait to read what comes next. Blessings, Edie
