今天的天气比昨天的天气。。。

For the non-Chinese readers out there, the above sentence reads “Today’s weather compared to yesterday’s weather…” It’s a sentence pattern that has been drilled into my head since I started taking Mandarin, and it seemed appropriate for this quick post.

This was the most beautiful day I have seen in Beijing so far! You could see clear to the mountains and there was not a cloud in the sky.IMG_20130529_154624

Buuuut that was weeks ago. The past 5 days have looked more like this….

Exact same view.  Very rainy, very smoggy, very humid.  The perfect excuse to stay snuggled in my bed with a cup of tea and illegally downloaded Mad Men after work. Hoping the next few days clear up so I can do more exploring!
